Spaghetti Bake

So a few days ago I got a new camera, in which I have been wanting for a while now! (Nikon D3100) I was so pumped and have loved shooting some photos lately. Anyway, I have really wanted to start posting some recipes on here because I myself love reading cooking blogs. It’s weird because I LOVE cooking now. It’s like when I got married and had to step up my game with that aspect I realized how much I enjoy it. So here is my first one…

Now bear with me, I’m by no means experienced on shooting photos of food and cooking it at the same time haha, but hopefully I will get better!

This is one of the many recipes I make that my mom made for us all the time. That amazing woman can turn anything traditional into deliciousness. This is one of those. This is not your normal Spaghetti people.

(You like the recipe card? haha i didn’t even notice the bottom until I uploaded it!)

This recipe isn’t one you have to follow verbatim. It’s easy and flexible! Here’s what you’ll need to gather:

As well as a pound of ground beef. Oh yes, I almost forgot (HA), and shredded cheese…and lots of it… :D Mozzarella, cheddar, and of course Parmesan, are the best!

I love using cream of chicken AND mushroom because so many great meals call for a can of each–for four people. So this can be perfect for the two of us!

Now simply brown the meat with some yummy garlic salt…and/or possibly the greatest flavor invention ever.

Grub Rub. People in Texas if you don’t have this in your kitchen get up and go get it. Seriously the best flavor to ANY meat and shrimp. It’s all you need. It’s perfect. You’ll never go back.

Since we got married we tried ground turkey–it’s healthier, but that’s ironic making this recipe haha–and we haven’t gone back to ground beef since! It’s quite tasty and there’s not much of a taste difference between that and beef.

Also at this time start cooking your noodles. You can go ahead and preheat the oven to 350 at this point.

After draining the meat, add in the spaghetti sauce.

And the cream of chkn+shroom.

And the most important part, a little parmesan cheese!

About this time your noodles should be done. Add those babies into your bubbly sauce.

Add this beautiful concoction into a 13″x9″ dish, layering with cheese.

Put in the oven for about 25 minutes. Now, pour yourself some sweet iced tea and wait.

Like my cute oven? Me too :)

Yay! It’s done!

Now dig in. Mmmm. Don’t forget a napkin.

So glad I can share this with you. If you have any questions, comment and let me know! Also, if you make this recipe, let me know how it was or what flair you added to it! Happy cooking, “from my kitchen to yours” in the words of Paula Dean :)
