Momma Comes to Visit

So on September 1st, Nick left to go to Barrow (the northern most point of Alaska) for nearly a month, because of work. While I hadn’t started school yet, I was going to be at home all by my lonesome–that is, until the next day when my wonderful mother came to visit me for 10 days!!! And man oh man, we had a BLAST! We sampled lots of seafood chowder,

played many a game of gin rummy, saw some funny animals, watched great movies, played with Kaskae,

and had a SURPRISE trip to Homer at a B&B,

complete with a full day kayak trip!

We saw so many beautiful creatures and views,

and best of all had a great time together.

We took some amazing pictures that hold wonderful memories of our time together, and I’m so glad I have such a fun, giving, loving momma!

Our trip to Texas

Recently Nick and I went to Texas for a visit! Nick hadn’t been home in nearly a YEAR! Anyway, we had a blast doing all sorts of fun stuff, so I figured I’d post a few pictures from our trip :)

What’s Happenin

I haven’t posted in a while so I decided to post a lil update on what’s been going on with the Kleebs here lately!

Last week Nick and I finally got the opportunity to go snowboarding up at Alyeska! The first Monday of every month, military families get free lift tickets, 50% off gear rentals, and a huge discount on room rates at the resort’s hotel. so we had a blast there doing that!

We also added a little guy to the family! His name is Kaskae (Pronounced Kash-ka) which means “Chief” in Inuit. We wanted an Alaskan name since we got him here! He’s a precious golden retriever. We are in the process of potty-training him which has been so much fun haha (That was sarcasm ;) )

As for Bro, welllll…he hasn’t quite warmed up to him yet. There’s been some hissing and swatting, but it’s getting better with time. He stalks Kaskae all the time haha.

I’ve been loving my new camera and have been taking some fun photos. I thought I’d share some on here! They’re not anything amazing, but they were fun. :)

As far as the weather here goes, the sun is BEAUTIFUL and is staying up much longer now! But both Nick and me cannot wait for summer!!! Go away snow! haha…

Courtney’s Senior Shoot

A little less than a year ago I photographed my cousins senior photos. I was so excited but at the same time a little bummed because I wish we could have had more time! But I love how some of them turned out and wanted to share them here! :) Courtney was beautiful and it shined through her smile and personality the whole time. I loved doing this with her!

Hope you enjoyed these! Feel free to comment hehe.
